Red Bank is looking to go deep in the playoffs and bring home the gold ball, due to their heavy experience on both sides of the ball and many more players that will be eligible this year who weren't last year; the biggest one of these is 6'1 215 RB Keon Williams, who is one of the top football prospects in the state.

The midstate's top choices will have to be Giles Co., Maplewood, David Lipscomb, & White House. Each of these teams are well coached and have TALENT which we all know does make a huge difference at some point in the playoffs when you need that one "big play" to pull out a game.

You better change that mindset because David Lipscomb is always good. They do not rebuild.......they reload. In 2005 they were a young team that had new faces everywhere and all they did that year was rack off 13 wins in a row after dropping the season opener to Greenbrier (and they eventually lost in the state title game to Livingston Academy). Officer is going to be running the trap for about 1,500 yards this year...........trust me!

I think Greeneville has a good chance to go all the way this year but not makin any promises.

Giles needs to hope that Lipscomb gets put out of the playoffs before they have to face each other or it will be another classic game.
