I have never watched White Co. play, but many have predicted them to finish behind Warren Co. in their district. With that assumed, I will make my prediction:

 

FC Rebels- 27

WC Warriors- 14

 

A big opening night for our offense, and lets hope to stay confident and healthy.

I hope we can win this first game. a lot is on the line. I'm sure sparta feels the same way. I hate predictions but I think our rebs can win this one if they play hard.

I speak for many Rebel fans when I say, we are always the most underachieving team in southern middle Tennessee. There are time when we take much better teams to the wire, and other times when we get beat by bottom dwellers, at home, by double digits, with the same talent. I am hoping for better leadership this year inside the huddle and on the sidelines. We seem to be healthy, but not very deep in key spots. I have a feeling alot of intangibles will be tested within the first quarter of this game. Good luck to your Warriors.

 

Also, I am one of the several making the drive. Is there any certain conession I should definately try or you suggest? And what are options for local food places for pre-game meal?

There are some places in Sparta that you can get a meal. mostly chain burger joints. If it were me I would stop in McMinnville. There is a tailgate party prior to the game sponsored by a local bussiness. Not sure what food it will be. Like I said, I would hit something on the way. See you Fri nite.

As far as eating places go, if you are looking for some place to eat before the game, I'll recommend you a few places where the local eats that might interest you. If you like Mexican, we have a very good restaurant called El Tapitio. We also have a place called Yanni's. You can get a little of everything there from a steak to spaghetti to pizza. Another restaurant is Squealing Bob's 2nd Act Deli. It has your deli sandwiches, along with a plate lunch, barbecue and steaks also. I know everyone has different tastes and some may or may not like those three, but those are usually the busiest places in town apart from the chain fast food restaurants. Oh yeah, we also have a Chinese buffet called Panda Garden.

White county has great group of freshman and the numbers are up big time at the junior high give coach 2 years and the program will be respectable again got a good feeling!!!
