I'm not bashing my team and saying they're terrible.. We go out there and play til that final horn blows.. and I give everything i have every play just like everyone else should.. Cloudland has a better team than us.. If we play well we can play with them, but that all depends on if we execute

After getting shut out at WG, I doubt Cloudland will overlook anyone. I hope that is what this kid is trying to do. I've never saw a coach or player predict to get beat before the game even starts.

Maybe if NG took a page from WG's book and hire a coach like Joe Case or Larry Bible, then they could compete with the legendary programs as well.

It appears you are not familiar with Coach Larry Smith at NG. Coach Smith has over 35 years coaching experience. He has been very successful with big time teams. He took Halifax County VA to a Division 6 (VA's biggest division) state championship in 1991. He coached Morristown East from 2003-2006 with a 4A quarter final loss to Morristown East in 06. He came back to the East TN area from Providence High School (offensive coord) in 07 because of family and ties in the area. He probably has more experience than all other Greene County and Greeneville head coaches combined.

I hate to say it, but NG is still NG. And from what I saw the Husky coach could use some help. That bunch has their work cut out for them. On another note, we all enjoyed some good food and fellowship. If any coaches were upset at me, I sure didn't detect it. We had a couple to come over and eat some hot dogs. I enjoy Cloudland football and we sure have some fine gentlemen directing our program. Everyone knows that the King can be a harsh critic but at the end of the night no matter what the outcome, I can say its great to be a Highlander, whooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
