jetpride6
Records seem lopsided in this one. But numbers may be decieving.. Cumberland Co. opponents combined record (12-6): Marion Co. (3-1) Meigs Co. (2-3) Livingston (3-1) Cookeville (4-1) York Inst. opponents combined record (8-17) Stone (1-4) Scott (2-3) Upperman (1-4) Meigs (2-3) Cannon (2-3) Cumberland is growing forward after a tough 1st half of the schedule. Learning what it takes to compete with and beat good teams. York looks to be big and physical, and has a great record. York has a good football team. Opinions, Thoughts, Predictions?? King21
York. May be some "controversy."
Guest
Controversy?? Surely not again. Cannon Co. wins against the Dragons and the wheels start coming off? I kind of thought York would come out and handle Cumberland Co.. I did see where ole bobcat was questioning the coaching, but didn't think anything of it. King21
LOL. Termite, you know me. I'm partial to LA. This whole "controversy" thing is the story of airplanepride6's life. Nothing to do with York. York shall win, by 14+.
wildwilly
MG somehow your numbers don't add up there...
jetpride6
I dont know what controversy you La boys are thinking I am trying to stir up. All i did was point out that Cumberland has played some good teams in the 1st half of the schedule and York hasnt played anyone with a winning record. I dont see livingston or york playing any one like perennial power houses Marion Co or Cookeville. These are two of the best teams in the state. I hope we can get an honest game at York, even though York is coming off a loss
jetpride6
Strength of schedule according to Coach T Region AAA Cumberland Co: 32 out of 114 Region AA York: 77 out of 105 Not saying this means much because you still have to strap on the pads and play
King21
Well airplane, if Marion and Cookeville are two of the best in the state, the state is weak.
jetpride6
ok maybe not one of the best teams in the state because if either of those teams went east and played alcoa, maryville, faragut, catholic I dont think they would fare that well. I would have to put both of those teams in the top 30 in the state tho.
wildwilly
cookeville's ranked #72 and marion's ranked #146 in the state...
markymark761
it is football time on the mountain should be a great game last year was a dandy back and forth matchup ... don't go by the records of teams that each team plays let the teams play it out and see what happens i think york will learn from the loss last week and bounce back with a vengence !!! go dragons
jetpride6
i agree the boys on the field will have to fight it out. I just wanted to let people know that we are better than our record. 1-3 sounds like the same ole Jets, but we are competitive.
