fiftyfifty
Not sure why Briarcrest is the unknown. St Benedict defeated Briarcrest earlier this year AT Briarcrest after being down by 10 middle of the 4th quarter. That is 4 straight over 2 years. Briarcrest is clearly better than SAA and Hutch but not sure how they will match up against East / Middle teams. If St Benedict beat Memphis Briarcrest, then it appears the strongest teams in Div II AA are located in Middle Tennessee. Heck, even Ryan beat St Benedict. coachref
St Benedict's last loss was at Ryan on the worst outing of the year and that was over a month ago, undefeated since then with several good wins. I believe SBA and Briarcrest can hold thier own with the teams from East / Middle this year. I guess we will all know soon.

MTOWN21
Tennessee Girls Basketball Prep Poll By The Associated Press The Associated Press’ Top 10 teams in each of Tennessee’s three Division I non-financial aid classifications and in the combined Division II financial aid classification as selected by Tennessee AP-member sportswriters and broadcasters. With first-place votes in parentheses, records through January 18, total points based on 10 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 10th-place vote: DIVISION 2 School; Record; Pts.; Previous ranking 1. There is no way that St Benedict should be ranked ahead of Ensworth. Father Ryan number 10, totally crazy, JPII not in the top ten. Why would anyone give any creditability to this poll. Davidson Academy ranked below Franklin Road Academy, but Davidson has already defeated them once. Mo-Town stop drinking that Mississippi river punch, it is affecting your thinking. Of course its a joke to you, because your beloved team is not showed any favor. St. Benedict is well deserving of its ranking. If the Ensworth game was played anywhere other than Ensworth, it would've been a different out come. The Father Ryan game was a loss coming behind the Bigger game with Ensworth. But, that's enough talking.....time will tell. Regardless of what you post St. Benedict is #1. Besides all polls are subjective....its just this time.....its not in your favor . DEAL WITH IT! Clock is ticking..................Polls are Polls.....State Tourney is coming! Get ya popcorn ready!
