Best running back in the Mid State

I think the best running back in the mid state is without a doubt Mario Davis from Marshall co. He already has eight touchdowns this year. He is only 175 pounds but he runs like a 220 pound back. He runs a 4.4 forty and has moves you wouldn't believe.

Aaron Cothran,Fairview........100 yards ahead of everybody but since its a Fairview player will probably go unoticed.

Joe Bryant, Jo Byrns High School......536 yards on 41 carries, an average of 13 yards per carry. He also has 7 TD's.

 

His Red Devils are 3-0 in 1-A and play CPA tonight.

This should be a great game. Good luck to both schools.

Cothran from Fairview will get noticed after tonight. He should make his mark against Lewis Co. Tonight.

Cothran is the number 1 rusher in the state and after tonight he will pull his lead even further. Since it is gonna rain tonight and Fairview is a running team and Lewis Co. is a passing team and 50% of a running team then Fairview will have a better chance than before.

I agree Fairview's Cothran is a quality back, but Davis is awesome and hasn't had enough carries to lead in rushing. But as the season goes on he will reach the top.

Ryan Hickman 9 td's 43 carries 432 yards but like that Fairview player he'll go unnoticed

I agree with shaft that Mario Davis is a great running back, but Marshall County also has another great running back and his name is Darryl Henry. He is about 5'5 and runs super fast!

Henry is a good back, but doesn't he lack the power that Davis has? But agree that is why Marshall Co. is so good they have a number quality backs.
