TnBball
Clarksville has two that should be recognized as at least best in the Midstate..They're two point guards that are really talented. DARIUS BAGWELL(Rossview High School)- Darius started PG for the Clarksville Magic 15u as a 7th grader and played in the AAU 15u NICs. This summer he didnt see much action as he again played with the 15u Clarksville Magic in Nationals. Strengths: Ball handling and play making abilities, can shoot the lights out of it..very unselfish Weakness: Still dont know when to give the ball up, left hand ball handling, hasnt grown into his body yet. FREEMAN PICKNEY(Kenwood High School)- Freeman and Darius battle on the middle school level for two years and one year on the AAU level before Darius stayed with 15u and freeman moved back down with his age group. Freeman stared for Mike Artis (16U COACH FOR MIDSTATE BALLERZ PROGRAM) as a 15u TN Knight. This year he played for the 14U Clarksville Soliders. He has leadership that you dont see from most 14 year olds and good penetration skills. Strength: Penetration and running a ball club, ball handling, unselfish. Weakness: Shooting and attitude. These two young men along with one or two more will be the future for Clarksville.

AERoadrunners
The best freshmen in the State is Markeis "Ski-Bo" Barrett. He will be playing at AE this year and probably starting at point guard. Just keep his name in mind and keep those Roadrunners in mind. This could be the year!!! AERoadrunners
See, you all don't know much about Ski-Bo but after this season you all will know a lot about him. Mark my word, Markeis SkiBO Barrett will be one of the best guards in Tennessee this year.
TnBball
Hey if you've seen Freeman Pickney play then you've gotta know who Darius Bagwell is..Right now Darius and Freeman are both running neck and neck as far as the best in the city..They both play the same position and are in the same boat as far as their high school teams go with Darius looking to get some Varsity time at Rossview High his first year..Right now Freeman may be the back up PG for Kenwood high, if you havent seen Darius you should check him out because he is one of the midstate/States best. Guest COACH1999
I havnt seen a lot of the Freshmen class, but one player you should know about (THADDEOUS YOUNG), I've watched this play since he was 10-yrs old playing the point. Now the kid is 6'7" (recently measured) and will be a Super Star at Mitchell H.S. this year under Coach Jerry Johnson. He can handle the ball and has a jumper. This kid will be the best in the State after this year. He's already being sloted for the NIKE ALL AMERICAN CAMP next year. And some Div I coaches are already knocking on the door. This kid will be the next true 7'0" out of Memphis and the State.
