tweet43 why is it so hard for you to realize that Kelli Cowan is the all time leading scorer at East Lit she is the hardest working girl that I have seen played at East .You make such a big fuss about this young lady not being the first girl to score 1,000 points why didn't you make the fuss when you say Geena was the first I don't understand,I take my hat off to Kelli Cowan she deserve it she worked for it , Kelli keep working hard & better things are to come.

I like Kelli Cowan's game, she plays hard every game I have watched her play. I think she deserves a lot of credit, I would even put her in the TN Miss Basketball ballot. She is the best I have seen this year at her position. If Keisha Couch wasnt hurt, I would put her in that ballot as well. But I wouldve love to see a regular season game with East Lit. vs. Hillsboro Girls with Cowan vs. Couch. That wouldve been a great match up to see. Maybe in college.......

1,000 points is a pretty good accomplishment. Nothing to turn your nose down at. I think it is odd that no one at the school would have kept the books for these teams. Smacks of incompetence as well as no appreciation for the game itself. Where exactly have people gone to find these old box scores from the paper?
