Who is the top 3 - 4 teams out of the region this year? I've heard St. George is having a really good year which surprised me and I figured ECS would be up there.

The great wisdom of TSSAA has included two teams JCS and USJ in Jackson that are included in this "memphis region". Yes St. George is doing well but USJ beat them earlier this year but they still set on top of the DIIa west Region. USJ is in 4th out of 12 teams. USJ and St George meet again in Memphis this Friday weather permitting. I believe it will be very close game but st George will win. Asa Toney can hit from anywhere if he gets hot. John Glover is is the kid from USJ that will not be able to be stopped. USJ will have to have everyone scoring to beat them.

New teams in the region are USJ / JCS (Jackson) and Fayette Academy....

Don't understand which region you think they should be included in if not the Memphis one? The East/West region reaches all the way to Knoxville.

USJ beat St. George's at USJ 69-57 and are 7-1 in the District 2 of the West Region.

I do agree that it will be a close game at St. George's, but don't think it is going to happen Friday as planned.

JCS is listed her on Coach T as be 3-1 but they have been beaten by both St George and USJ. Not sure of their win column. But this leads me to question everyones record Accur

    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
