Da Bears, since you travel well in the highschool venues why don't you give your top 25 places and foods to eat at while travling the circuit. And Iknow you are a business man, have you owned a restaurant?

I will start working on my list today! I have never owned a restaurant but I have help keep many of them in business.

 

A quick list in no order to get you started:

 

Ooltewah - Couch's BBQ

Cleveland - Monterrys, Jordans' BBQ, and WWs

Chattanooga - Sticky Fingers, Big River Grill, Bea's, Mellow Mushroom

McMinn County - The Country Patch

Clarksville - Excels, and Chicago Pizza(Name?? on Wilma Rudoplph)

Camerons- cat head biscuits

Jenkins - chicken salad

Rebel: LottaBurger and best sawmill gravy in the world (Saturday morning treat of mine)

Oak Ridge: Big Jim's or Jimmy's (across from the football field) pizza

Greenback: (Nearer to Sweetwater) Bradley's BBQ (of course us Bear fans like this place)

Knoxville: Calhouns on the river (great ribs)

Cookeville: BBQ place near the high school

Nashville area: Ruth Chris at Vanderbilt Plaza (best steaks anywhere)

Memphis: Rendevous's (Dry rub ribs) and then aross the street to Peabody's desert shop

I miss the location they had in Cleveland. Do they still have the other store on Hwy 58?

Da Bears, others may have more knowledge on the mat but as far as I can tell when it comes to the Menus at the Venues you have no rivals. Could you give us a run down of what you look for, taste, quantity, ability to satify stomach space vs. cost. Some may think I'm kidding but for a 225 lber I can put my share of plates in the dishwasher. If you ever go to Lancaster Pa. Go to Miller's kind of pricey but they give you a half off ticket for your next visit. It's buffet and I would put them up against anybody. Salads ,soups, comfort foods, entree's, deserts, breads, it's unreal how large a selection they have and how good it is.
