Thanks for that update. I did not know Craigmont was without Durham. That helps explains things better or should I say helps me to better understand how Jackson North Side was able to pull this one out. Nonetheless it's still a great accomplishment.

Yea I didn't know about Durham until I arrived at the gym and saw him. Then another Coach explained to me why he wouldn't be playing..

Nal Prather is a man amongst boys...Melrose's Adonis Thomas and maybe Big Ced from DC are the only ones left that could slow him down...I would have to say Craigmonts big man played well though

This is a big deal for DC and Jackson North Side. Cordova and Craigmont are 2 good teams and for DC and Jackson North Side to square of for the region championship is a great accomplishment. I would be stunned if either makes it past sub state because Melrose and White Station are on an entirely different level than anything either has seen this season. In my opinion the odds are better but not great of beating White Station.....I can't see either beating Melrose. I really can't see either beating White Station just think they would have a better shot than against White Station.

 

What I do like is the Janes kid from DC getting a shot to square of against one of the Memphis powers. I told people last season he was much better than people thought. I don't know the kids status as far as academics but I do know he is a D1 talent and I said so last season wen people were doubting him and his ability.

Yankees, I told you Janes was playing good ball last year and over the summer he has IMPROVED his game and now is playing on a different level. Cedric's game is a post game; his size will be his major down fall in playing D1 ball! But if he can work on his outside game he'll be a good SF right now his size will hold him back a little playing the PF position.

That's why I said last season he might go low major OVC type conference. Alot of the low major schools have PF types around Janes size.
