Columbia should win with Spann pitching. I think the middle of the line up will come out strong. Brooks has been swinging the bat very well to start the season. Slatton, Keeton, and Horne swings the bat as good as anyone out there.

Have to agree with columbiaguy, good pitching usually has edge over hitting early in the season. And without your #1 or #2, the bats need to bring it.

How is the Davis kid doing? Is he still playing. I remember wathing him in our local league and he was a stud. I ask his old caoch where he was at and he said his father had got married and relocated to FC.

My son is a Freshman but gets to run some in Varsity. So yep I will be taking off early to make the game. Hope to see you there and good luck.

Yes, he's been at Franklin County since his freshman year and has been starting in right field. He pitched quite a bit last year and has pitched in two games this years. Threw well against Ravenwood this past weekend and should have gotten the win if it hadn't been for a few defensive miscues (field was a bit rain soaked). He may pitch tomorrow night against Lincoln County, but I'm not really too sure.
