reftn
Hi guys. This is the biggest turn around I think I have seen in a program. I have been going to NCS games for 3 years, and understood the history for the past 10 years. There is a real thing in coaching called "buying in". Whatever Coach Brothers is selling, those kids are all in. He has the kids buying in week after week, game after game. That kind of thing feeds on itself. And if the coach is selling a good product, you only want more. You can ask the kids (NCS) whats better, winning or losing. They are pretty bright kids and tell you winning, but I think they would go one more and tell you the satisfaction is how they are winning. mercury728
From what ive heard, NC didnt play very well, it was WHH homecoming with a bit of home cooking as far as the refs go. 39-28 was the final. It appears that NC is pretty legit. The Weiss kid ran for 4 touchdowns including a kickoff return. The jv for NC was in the game in the 4th quarter if that says anything. I don't know about that Ben. Yes it was homecoming, but I believe the game was called pretty doggone fairly across the board. I didn't see any calls on either side that left me shaking my head. Both teams shot themselves in the proverbial foot on several occassions. The unfortunate thing for WHH is that with the offense they run, they are unlikely to get themselves out of any big down & distance holes they create with holding, false starts, and the "offsides on the offense" calls they're plagued with. WHH is short on talent and experience, and they fall short on the basics of blocking and tackling. On the other hand, NCS is talented, and they are legit. I don't know if they can get past JB, but it should be a heck of a matchup.
reftn
I think that's awesome for your program and I can't wait to see ya'll in week 10! The JB program is excellent. We just want to show up. (we have scouted your training table habits and are having some meals shipped in three weeks leading up to the game! )

They have some playmakers that are gonna cause some concerns for Jo Byrns. Defense is quick to the ball. Looking foward to the matchup. TitansFan83
Can't wait to see the NCS homecoming game next week against ER. If Week 10 sees JB vs a 8-1 NC team I might make the trip to go see that game.

youthsportsPIX
If WHH did not have a couple of big runs from #21 NCS will have won by 30. Not sure how #21 is able to play after transferring from East Robertson, don't know the whole story but seems weird. Coach Brothers should be nominated for coach of the year for the turn around his has done with NCS.
