It starts in your pee-wee and middle school programs.

Bingo,Kev .The program here at Polk has improved 100% since our oldest boy and our youngest started.Our oldest being in the little league about 1998-2000,our little (now 6'4"-230-240 ) one,now a senior. The team effort ,like has been stated,top to bottom,hard work and discipline .Heart,heck,ya can't do it for 'em. Honesty too.Been a big lack of that in some programs,but,no excuses,bottom line.

It may START in the middle school, but it won't turn into anything without a COACH. You have to have a talented, dedicated coach that wants to win it to have a championship level team.

Or half a dozen kids form North Carolina

Or Georgia, or South Carolina, or California, or Florida, or maybe even Texas. Actually you could just break into the trophy case at Alcoa and win however many you can carry....at least before the police arrive and haul you to the slammer. Watch some of the Alcoa preseason workouts on youtube and that will show you what you have to do....and I'm a Camden fan, in case you didn't know... I have alot of respect for those kids no matter where they came from after watching that. By the way, where can Camden get on of those football helmets to run through. I'm sure the boosters in Benton county have twenty grand lying around to spend on it and a smoke machine too. That entrance would get a 90 year old granny "Too Hype"!!!

Blood sweat and tears, starting with the coaches right down to the last player. If you got good coaches that are hungry and your players are hungry for it that equals a great ball team.

 

There is so much more to pull a championship though.
