So one day until dead period ends and workouts start back up. Who are the assistants under Coach Greene? I've heard that Davis is also done at the high school. Coach Guthrie may be going to Spring City also. With Mitchell being the only holdover from the previous staff. That leaves Fitzgerald, Cameron, Hampton, Davis, Cook, both Smith's and Guthrie maybe gone. 8 coaches, I guess that is what the administration wanted was change. Nice going, a 6A football program with a head coach and 3 assistants.

 

This administration cannot even come up with a price tag for the new school so the construction can move forward. Expecting them to be concerned with the football program is a biggggg stretch. If they had any interest in Rhea County athletics they would have supported long term coaches who demonstrated loyalty to the county by running programs at low cost instead of making life hard for them and rewarding their replacements who will not stick around with more perks and more expense. As for the folks who like this system, enjoy.

Season ticket holders should have gotten their letters about reserving their tickets (I assume because I got mine yesterday). It mentioned "... his staff" but we don't even know who they are. Can anyone elaborate on who the staff is made up of? Can someone for sure prove that Davis is gone? Did Green bring in a new staff that we just don't know about yet?

 

Gee, it'd sure be nice to have Mr. RheaCo back giving us updates and general info to keep us informed

Tim Hammontree has taken an assistant's job at Anderson County. I guess Messemer and Levengood have already been up there to kiss his ring, or anything else he would like kissed. They are the leaders of Hammontree's Groupies, which means they probably are too busy gushing over their idol to worry about Rhea County.
