Mt. Pleasant Host Spring Hill

Game time in Mount Pleasant. Spring Hill kicks off to begin the game. Tigers will begin their offensive drive on their own 19. GO TIGERS!!!

Tigers are able to move the ball against the Raider defense but finally the Raiders force a punt. Raiders take over on their own 20 and are not able to move at all. Raiders kick the ball away. Bad punt and Tigers have good field position to start their second drive. Tigers are moving deep into Spring Hill territory. Just under six minutes remaining in the first quarter.

SCORE MTP!!!! 8 yard run from #4 to get the Tigers on the board first. Two point conversion is unsuccessful. Tigers lead 6-0 with 4:38 to play in the first quarter.

[Raiders respond!!! Beautiful drive by Spring Hill to respond. #12 runs the ball in through the whole Tiger D in an impressive way. Spring Hill's two point conversion is a thing of beauty and the Raiders are in the lead with 2:21 to go in the first. Score: Raiders 8, Tigers 6.

TIGERS SCORE!!! What a drive!!! Long pass from #1 to #15 puts mTp inside the Raider 10 yard line. Then #1 runs it in for the score but the two point conversion attempt fails. Tigers lead the Raiders 12-8 as the 2nd quarter begins in THE JUNGLE!

Tigers have come to play!!! Interception by #20 and returns if for the TD! #1 on the keeper for the two point conversion. Tigers in the lead now with 11:27 to play in the half. Score: Mt. Pleasant 20, Spring Hill 8. GO TIGERS!!!

Tigers are looking good!! Nice drive by the Tigers and great run by #4 to cap it off with a score. The two point conversion attempt fails but mTp holds a 26-8 lead with 7:40 to play in the half! Let's go mTp!!!

Raiders mount a methodical drive to start the second half, including going for it on 4th and 4 to get the first down to keep the drive alive. But at the 5 yard line the Tigers force a fumble!! Tigers have it on their own five.

RAIDERS SCORE!!! 30 yard run by #29 and the two point conversion attempt fails. Spring HIll has the only score of the second half but still trail the Tigers 26-14 with 45 seconds to play in the 3rd.

4th quarter begins in Mt. Pleasant. Tigers have the ball on their own 31, 2nd down and 8.

TOUCHDOWN TIGERS!!! 12 yard scamper by #1 for insurance over the Raiders. Two point conversion attempt fails, but Tigers hold a 32-14 lead over Spring Hill with 7:54 to play in the game.
