VOLnWTN
Duck, You can't catch flack for calling it like it happened. I think we showed signs of better line play tonight but still not there. Each week though, that young line keeps getting better. My game ball goes to the foot of Zeik Hicks. Punts of 43,54,53 and 44 flipped the field and gave a huge advantage to the Rebel defense. The Rebel defense pitched the shutout tonight. Did not allow any points. Keep it up. Well Duck, we know next week you will be dressed in organge, red and black but I know what color your blood runs. Another Trenton/McKenzie war in the end. Final was 21-14 Rebels. Trenton had tons of problems throwing the ball untill late in the 4th. AND their 14 points were gifts of a slightly errant Rebel offense in the 2nd quarter. 2 pick 6's on 2 consecutive possesions. We will fix that!!! Officials were best we've had this season but did botch 3-4 calls. But they didn't lump them on one side. It went both ways. Heck, even the bands were pretty good. Trenton's was very good. Summation, it should have been 28-0 Rebels BUT nobody left without getting their $$ worth. I'll prolly catch some flack from my summation of the game but don't care. Know what I saw. Must say that sportsmanship was highly evident through out the game between the players and after the game. A thankful relief after last week. Players from both teams helping players from the other team up after a play. Pats on the helmet and handshakes after the game. The way it should be. Another hardnosed game with the players all appreciating the other teams effort. It was high school football at it's best!!
rebelsnook
I would like to give recognition of #15 Grant Lowrance. He played one heck of a game, especially that big hit on punt coverage. Remember Rebels, ONE GAME AT A TIME! WORK HARD! LISTEN! SUPPORT EACH OTHER! GO REBELS! VOLnWTN
I agree. He came in and laid the wood on that hit and played excellent on defense!!!! I think Comer may have found him a new corner. I would like to give recognition of #15 Grant Lowrance. He played one heck of a game, especially that big hit on punt coverage. McKRebelDad
Hated to miss this game but we headed to the dungeon to watch Humb and JB. Sounds like it was a good one from the reports we were getting. First game I've missed in 5 years and it was a little difficult to say the least. Think I'll stick around the rest of the year and watch my rebels. Good to see the recovery of a rocky 2nd frame. Each game will only get better, just keeping working because we have some tough games ahead. Proud of you guys, get ready for the bulldogs (sorry duck )
