Lewis County defeated Perry County tonight in Hohenwald by a score of 41-0. As most expected, it was a very one sided game. Playing on a soggy, soft field, the Panthers led 14-0 after 1, 28 -0 at the half and 41-0 with 7:29 left in the third quarter. The Panthers pulled their starters at that point, playing both second units on offense and defense the rest of the way.

Perry County played hard but couldn't match up very well with the Panther's defensive front which dominated the line of scrimmage. Lewis County had over 200 yards offense at halftime compared to 38 for the Vikings.

I appreciate that! I would like to suggest that everyone who works as a stat man or reporter for their schools to give us a detailed report of their game. It would keep us all up late on Friday night but we would have all the info before the newspapers came out on Saturday morning and would also allow everyone to get really detailed happenings of every game, not just a few highlighted ones.

Is both of these teams Single A or is Lewis in another? If there in the same are they in the same district? How long has Lewis County had the same coaches?

Perry County is A, Lewis County is AA. Coach Sharp has been at Lewis County since 1988, several assistants for 6-8 years.
