For Athletes:

What is mental toughness? How can I develop and maintain an elite Athletes Mindset? How can I overcome anxiety and nervousness before a big match? All of these are valid questions and the good news is, they all have answers. Dr. Tiffany Breeding will offer her expertise to address the most common challenges for elite youth competitors. Her presentation will include an overview of performance psychology, an introduction to designing a mental skills program and some key strategies and tips that athletes can begin to integrate into their own training, on the mat and off.

For Parents:

We all know youth sport parents are their athletes number one fans, greatest supporters, and often can be their biggest critics. In an attempt to provide the highest level of training and elevate the performance of their young competitors training hard often becomes over training. Dr. Breeding will offer some invaluable suggestions for helping your athlete stay motivated, continually increase performance both mentally and physically, and avoid the setbacks of overtraining. Topics covered will include: The power of positive psychology, communication and recognizing the symptoms of burnout/overtraining.
