Advantage to playing a team twice u know.

With HV and Betsy playing each other earlier in the year, this gives an advantage to HV. Because when u play a team twice in the year, u can correct mistakes and coach up the players to come out with a fire under them and let them know their backs are against the wall and that even the underdogs can win. HV has a tough test for them tomorrow night in the Land of Betsy and we shall rely on 77, 30, and 5 to get us to round 2. Oh and btw number 5 loves to take a hit, cant believe everything u read u know. So, a close game just like last season (2010)

Yes a blocked EP will take the Warriors to victory.

The 2010 game was a fluke, Happy Valley could not move the ball against Elizabethton and Elizabehton ran all over HV in that game. The mistakes they made in that game will not be made in this one. Elizabethton lead 7-0 at the half after missing a field goal at the end of the half. HV returned a kick off to the 1 and Elizabethton snapped the ball over the punters head and HV recovered on the 35 and on the second try HV kicked a FG. EHS drove down the field and scored and won 13-10. EHS had over 108 yards in penelties and Terrance Turner did not play. I don't think your #5 played ether. But we saw them both play a few weeks ago and how did that turn out for you? You will get to see a freshman running back run all over you this week. By the way its EHS that has a blocked PAT in almost every game and we will rely on players 1-99.

Was this really worth making a 2nd thread!?

And you might have an argument 2AA if HV didn't get beat 41-0 the first time and then get shut out against other teams that we crushed. If the first HV/EHS game was closer then yes, you might have a valid point but 41-0 isn't a bunch of mistakes that can be fixed, that's a score that shows a large gap in talent. compare the schedules, look at the scores of each game and who played who and you'll see why EHs is so heavily favored.

Surprising maybe, but not a fluke. The seniors on that team had won their whole lives. I was at the game and didnt see Betsy run all over HV. I saw an Hv team that could not move the ball, but also was still trying to figure out how to run triple quadruple option bs. I saw a Betsy team that was blindsided by a "better than expected" Warrior team, that looked like they wanted to win a little more. Great drive at the end saved your day. Wish the HV coaches hadnt dropped into the prevent defense at the end. That could have made the difference. The 6-8 passes dropped by Betsy could have made a difference. Or the personal foul penalties.

I guess thats why you play the game. The team that has the most yardage doesnt always win.
