Squoshwave17
Gallatin posters must have finally realized they weren't playing the Patriots tonight. This, in fact, is not a fact - FactsOnly.... I want you guys to know something. I respect HenryCo fans more than any other fanbase outside of my Green and Gold. The FACT is that our Hendersonville thread is boring as crap right now, and I'm just trying to stir up some hype JUST IN CASE we have to travel to Paris. Plus I'm just having a little fun. Well GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE! Stay as long as you'd like. I started to post on y'all's thread but, you're right, it was so boring I couldn't think of anything to say. By the way, has anyone told you how good Henry County is today?
Squoshwave17
Well GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE! Stay as long as you'd like. But I have heard some ramblings about how Sumner County owns your field... I've got an idea. You guys should forfeit home field advantage in the 4th round. Because it is inevitable that you will see either us, Hville, Beech, or Station Camp... I loathe the other three, so since you guys can't beat a sumner co team at home, maybe you should just try to travel down this way if you don't end up playing us. I'd like your chances better that way. Edited November 11, 2011 by Squoshwave17

Fact: Paris is not just a town in Henry County, but also a city in France. Fact: The French are sissies Coincidence? I think not...

I think not... At least Beech has the balls to play us in the regular season. We'll see you in the 4th round. Make sure "all the busses" you bring have heat, cause it's going to be a long ride back to Gallatin.
RedSwarm10
Is it curious to any of you that the Memphis and Jackson newspapers don't acknowledge the Patriots, especially given the level of football we've been playing? We truly are an island here, I wouldn't be anywhere else. I know they don't cover teams outside of their circulation area, but we used to be mentioned in the Jackson Sun's weekly rankings all the time. I agree it's strange, especially because we've been mentioned in The Tennessean all year, but outside of Paris, nothing in West Tennessee has covered us. "Island" is a fitting word. Again...not 100% true. Just last week, WBBJ in Jackson interviewed all 3 senior D-lineman for the tribute to the Patriot's defense. Also, Coach Adams and Coach Counce were interviewed in that same segment. The J-Sun only covered the Patriots when we were members of Region 7-AAAA with Hardin County, Jax-Northside, Liberty, Munford, and Brighton. We don't exist now! I think not... Another unlikely coincidence Fact: The city of Gallatin in Sumner County was named after Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin. Fact: The same Albert Gallatin was born in Geneva, Switzerland. Fact: The Swiss are known to avoid war. Fact: Albert Gallatin, for which Gallatin, TN is named, served as US Minister to the (sissy) French from from 1816 - 1823. Fact: It has not been possible to prove, but it has been suggested in scholarly circles that Mr. Gallatin had, let's say, an affinity for the French, who many consider to be sissies. They did a 3 minute segment on our D-line. Other than that, I haven't seen anything about us in West Tennessee. It's not a big deal, just interesting.
