who should be contending in this district this year Moore County will be Moore County and im sure Forrest will be Forrest! how does everbody else stack up and could the two named teams make it to state?Payers of year and top players to look for this year.

This coming from a 10A follower, Looks like Forrest lost 7 seniors from last yrs team...will they still be tough this yr? Forrest seems to always be ready tho. Is Thornton the "real deal" at Center? 6-2? Wow.

Interested to see who makes it to the Regionals to play the top two out of 10A. Good luck to all.

I've been a ref for 15 yrs and have to say that there is nothing better than coming over Monteagle mountain and working the girls A substate/Sectional game. What great baketball. I've worked that girls substate probably 7-8 times over the years and have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work across the mountain and good luck to all the teams there this year. Maybe I will see some of you in early March:)

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
