Does he really have to interview? His record should be enough. Or his he interviewing them to see what they can offer him?

Hard to speculate on what he's doing. I believe his name is still on the practice facility note with the QB Club. That may be incentive to stay, but I don't know how much is left on the note. A few years ago he interviewed in Livingston out of respect for his home town. I believe White County gave him his 1st Head Coaching job, so I'm hoping this is a respect interview too........but they may make an offer he can't refuse.

Allow me to take a stab at this. Coach Maynord has probably maxed out his state salary matrix. His retirement will be based on his 5 highest, consecutive years in TN. He has that while being Head coach and principal. With that being said, he may be looking for something that can pay him what he is getting now without having to teach much or be an administrator. Just be a coach. Pretty enticing. I am sure that Coach Swallows will give him the best situation that he is allowed within White County Bd of Ed rules. it will be interesting to see what happens.

With a little more thought..........I find it hard to believe he would leave. He's been there (WC), done that. So..........I'll go with...........NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
