Based on what I've seen and heard Soddy is the only team that can make it to the state from 5-AAA. I would put the district, top-to-bottom, like this:

1. Soddy

2. Walker Valley

3. Ooltewah

4. Bradley

5. Cleveland

6. Rhea County

7. McMinn County

Soddy Daisy McMinn Ooltewah Walker Valley Bradley Cleveland Rhea

lets hear what everyone has coming back! predictions wont matter season starts a week from today.

Mcminn- 1st baseman will be a tough out, center fielder, and Lingerfelt probably #1 pitcher. Lacking depth at pitcher.

Rhea - No idea think they lost a good senior core.

Cleveland- Did not look good in play day game I seen, had some athletes not sure if they can conform into baseball players. Lacking depth at pitcher.

Bradley- Has a good core of Juniors with good depth in pitching as long as they can progress into throwing strikes may upset some of the top dogs. Should have solid hitting throughout line up. Catcher has really improved should be a solid team.

OOLTEWAH- 2 solid pitchers for district games Dupree will be a load to handle both offensively and pitching. not sure of what else they have coming back.

SODDY- #1 pitcher will be solid not sure whats behind him. Loss of Talon will be huge, praying for you son. 3rd baseman is a beast with the bat not sure what else team is made of.

Walker- Returns entire infield except catcher and also returns 2 outfielders from last years sub state team. The catcher and outfield positions should be filled with quality players. Bobby will be solid on the mound as #1 not sure who will be #2 Broom, Longwith, Simmons, Kirby, Lyles will fill the void hopefully with Hindeman coming in towards the end of the year after having off-season surgery, if he can come back as good as he was last year the Mustangs may make another run. they will be a solid hitting team 1-9. Pitching is the question to see who will step up as #2 and see who steps up as closer until Hindeman returns.

PLEASE fill free to fill in all the details left out

    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
