Tennessee Softball Coaches Association Softball Tournament

We want to invite all schools to our first annual softball tournament being play at Buckner Park in Dickson.

 

Dates are April 19th and 20th

 

Gold and Silver Division Play

 

Money raised will be given for scholarship for participation teams

 

One Hour and 15 minute time limit

 

Each team will furnish one new game ball

 

We will also be purchasing Uniforms for our TN/KY All Star Game

 

Be giving awards for our student athletes for Academic Achievement

 

Awards will be given to the team academic accomphishment

 

Plaques for Miss Softball Player of the Year Awards (All Classification)

 

Awards for Coaching Staff of the Year

 

 

This is just a simple of where the money will go for this tournament we hope that you will mark this date down on your calendar to attend!

This tournament will be played in Clarksville, Tn. due to a scheduling conflict. This tournament will be during the April 19th and 20th weekend. More information to follow.

We are starting to have a lot of teams sign up for this tournament. At this time we have have 4 fields reserved at Mericourt Park in Clarksville. This is a beautiful place to play with large trees for shade to sit lawn chairs under. Last year the Play It Again Sports Gold Division played here and the coaches and players loved the setting. The parents really loved the easy access to parking and fields and sitting under the trees enjoying the steak burgers the Clarksville National Little Leauge served up. This is going to be full before long, so if you want in this tournment sign up now. A list of teams will be up shortly.

We are starting to get teams signing up for the TSCA Tournament. Remember, if you are a member of the TSCA and your team plays in the tournament, all profits are put in a scholarship fund and scholarships are given out to member schools young ladies. Size and number of scholarships will be determined at a later date by Executive Directors and Regional Directors. Please contact Phil Burkhart at phillipburkhart@ymail.com and list if you want to play in Gold or Silver Division. Cost is $250 and have a 4 game minimum.

We still have a few openings in the TSCA Tournament for April 19 and 20 in Clarksville. Remember if you are a member of the TSCA and play in the tournament, all procedes from tournament go back to the girls in forms of Scholarships for member schools who play. Also this year the tournament falls during Clarksville's Rivers and Spires Festival with fun for all ages. Also, a special treat this year is a free concert on Saturday after the tournament. See information below.

 

The Rivers & Spires Festival is pleased to announce that the Grammy nominated and CMA award-winning country musician Jo Dee Messina will be the featured headliner at the 2013 Festival. Messina will take the Public Square stage at 7 p.m. as the main event on April 20. The concert is free and open to the public.
