Well I was just going from what I heard. You would think someone from a local community knows why they are talkin about

The announcer, whom I was sitting in front of, got roughly 60% of the point tallies wrong. Guess that happens when you spend more time throwing in references to UT when you're supposed to be announcing. So take what you hear from him with a grain of salt. And yeah, Atnip had some great games this weekend. Especially so since he was playing injured Saturday.

 

Speaking of the injury......I was VERY surprised to see him playing on Saturday.

Championship still runs through LA!!

Yeah, I heard that the decision to let him play came just as the team was about to run out against Gabriel.

Cannon has a decent team this year. They mopped the floor with Cumberland county last week, and in turn Cumberland beat a football-depleted LA, right? Cannon has greats guard play, but will struggle in the post.

And I agree SportsWatcher, DC will have to make a statement against LA this year. I feel that they have the talent to, but talent doesn't always translate into wins.

Actually, our post play has showed some signs of real progress through our first 2 games. Yes, we have no Ramsey or Fullilove, but from where I sit, I see some promise.

Dekalb has the talent but its not about talent with them.. It has to be them playing with a chip on their shoulders an their will to win

Definitely not saying your post players are bad or anything. Just going on what I saw against Cumberland.

That being said, I know that it's hard to judge just from one game, and I still feel like guard play is where CC's strength lies.

I think I got a tweet from coacht saying it was 85-60. But still, that's without their players who were still in football.

Sorry, just double checked, it was 80-67, Cumberland over LA. Also saw that Cumberland beat smith 76-42...

Livingston us going to be good. Wait till they get there football players back. I'm sure they would demolish Cumberland
