I have a question. How much has Marions defense improved? I watched this match up last year and Basin did what they wanted offensively. I have heard a lot about the MC offense but how is the D? Could this be a 42-35 type game? High scoring no defense?

Yes they have improved, but the difference is on offense. Marion's offense was horrible last year. They couldn't get a first down on anyone. You will see a different team on Friday.

Different team. Marions offense is A LOT better. Defense is playing hard too.

Both sides of the ball have improved. Offense 100x more than defense. The defense still has a little trouble setting the edge against fast backs, I am assuming that won't be much of a problem in this game as basin is probably like marion speed wise. If you are expecting a marion team like last year then you are in for a surprise. Coach mac has came in and totally changed the mindset of these young men. I expect this game to be quite a challenge and I also hear that the copper basin qb will be the best that mc has faced.

The QB is pretty good. Reads the option very well and makes good decisions. Big physical runner as well.

The Basin RB is pretty speedy. Not the fastest ya'll have seen, but he is very quick and elusive.
