Season starts in a month and this countdown of days is nerve wreckin.I know this Is VERY FAR FETCHED but who is the favorite to win miss basketball and why?my pick is Nina Davis.6'1 post/forward.Baylor commit.She should average a double double this year with ease

If you knew how the Miss Basketball award really worked you would be shocked. You have to lobby the other coaches to vote for your kid. If you dont have many "friends" in the coaching ranks you wont win it. Some coaches wont vote for a kid simply because they may be on a rivals team. It should be stats and performance based and picked by a panel that doesnt involve current coaches. Right now some of the best players dont always win or even get enough votes for final nominations.
