This tournament actually started on time! It really was a great day of wrestling. Few things that I noticed from the stands: Palacio from Red Bank went 0-3. Brentwood and Coach Blair, look to have things on the right track. The Hamilton kid looks solid. Ravenwood has several kids that look impressive led by Freeman. Baylor kids looked good, all of them! Tullahoma looking like Bradley County riding legs. Eagleville had a ton of kids on the team as did Shelbyville! Coach Brays group looks young but very talented. Feuerbacher should have a good season. Could be a different team once he receives all his football players. Coach Gonyea has a younger Gonyea looking good.

Fantastic day of wrestling... Very well run by Al and his crew...

Thanks coach, Tullahoma has an excellent system already in place and the community support here is just awesome! David Cleveland and Ronnie Bray deserve a lot of the credit which allowed us to start on time and also having the kids paired by skill level.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
