Who plays who this week and where is everyone?

The big game for the week is Greeneville vs. Grainger. Has anyone got an update on the injured pitcher?

Recovering and doing better. Unlikely he will return this season.

Greeneville and Grainger match will answer a lot of questions or create even more. If either team sweeps they will be in the drivers seat, a split will leave things in limbo since both have 1 loss to other teams. Grainger still has to play South Greene who could be 2nd or 3rd place team in the district. The next 2 weeks answers all the questions. Amazing how fast the season goes by.

Devils get the win tonight over Grainger 5-2. Braham pitched a good game. Grainger bats were silent for the most part and errors caused them some problems too. Devils made the plays they were supposed to make, good road win. With a win tomorrow, they will own the district.

Devils complete the sweep of Grainger 4-0. Probably a lock to win the conference based on remaining schedule.

WG over Greenville tonight 5-3. WOW! Is this legit and WG a legit team or was Greeneville off their game? What is WG in the conference?

West Greene outplayed Greeneville and deserved to win the game. I'm a GHS parent and I congratulate them they were the better team tonight. Their pitcher did a great job and we didn't hit very well along with a few errors on defense done us in. Hopefully we can win our next 3 conference games and win the district.

I think that this is the last week of conference play, unless there are games to be made up. Who has who this week and where does everyone stand?

I believe it will be a dogfight until the end. The West Greene upset of Greeneville will make it interesting during this last week. Running out of pitching because of makeups will be the biggest concern. Who has the deepest rotation out there in the BRAC?

West Greene has no conference games except possible make-ups. South Greene plays Grainger Mon and Tue - this should be a good match. Greeneville plays Claiborne and can win without using their better pitchers, tough year for Claiborne. Cumberland Gap plays CD and I think they will take both, but CG plays Grainger on Wed. and they may try to save pitching and let CD sneak up on them. CG is dangerous with Hatmaker pitching if he's on. I see no way that Greeneville doesn't win the district. I think SG, Grainger, WG and CG are playing for 2-5 this week.

 

Greeneville is really tough with 2 pitchers. Braham is their ace. Past 2 and they have to play really good defense and hit ----- CG is Sr. Hatmaker then they struggle.------West Greene is probably 2 deep as well then they better hit------Grainger is probably the deepest with 3 or 4 Sr. pitchers and a left-handed So., but they aren't consistent on defense. I seen them play CD and they made all the plays they should have in a shutout and I seen them make errors against Greeneville that put them out of the game------Claiborne not deep at any position.
