Lipscomb should be very good this year. What do you think?

Hume-Fogg

CPA

This baseball district is very weak. The question will be are they good enough to go very deep in the post-season tournaments.

While there are some weak teams at the bottom of this district (as there are in all districts), there are also some quality teams. Lipscomb has won the state in '05, Runner up in '08. final four in '09, state qualifier in '10, state champs in '11. CPA won the district in 2010 and 2012. Lipscomb was 4th behind East Magnet (2nd) and Hume Fogg (3rd) in 2012 but they got hot at tourney time and still made the sub-state. East has had several solid teams in the last 5 years. Hume Fogg is a senior dominated team this year that could do well.

 

Yes, the district also has Pearl Cohn, Stratford, Whites Creek, and Maplewood, but the top 5 teams are competitive. To say the district is weak would be uninformed.
