Well this is very well my first post under Boys Soccer and may very well be my last post as my son is playing his last few games as a high school athlete. All I can say is "Phew" as the spring sports are coming into their Region games now, Substate Games, and for some High School Graduations. It appears we are at a stretch where games must be played and they have to be played today!

Just thought I would share with everyone the kinda messy game that went on when Ezell-Harding faced DCA on Saturday, May 4th, at DCA. It was pretty sloppy, pretty wet, and for the winners...maybe pretty neat.

Ezell-Harding went on to Knox Webb and faced the Spartans yesterday, Tuesday, May 7th and lost to them in the District Championship game 1-2 in Double OT. Congratulations to Knox Webb, DCA, Kings Academy, and to our own Ezell-Harding Christian School Eagles on advancing to the Region and Good luck to all.

Here's a look at the game from this photographer's/dad's perpective.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
