The fan vote is now open for the MidTN SENIOR Players of the Year.

The three finalist (with winner) will be announced at the 2nd MidTN Senior All-Star Classic on Saturday June 8th at Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN. The finalists awards are sponsored by The Tennessean and GameTime while the POYs will be sponsored by Old Hickory Bat Co. Finalists will be awarded a plaque and the POYs will be awarded a commerative engraved bat from Old Hickory.

Also, The Tennessean will sponsor the MidTN Coach of the Year in each class.

So provide us with the top three SENIOR players in the four classes this year (A, AA, AAA, DII). Your voice will matter. Let's see what you say!

Give us your 3 in each class.

Do you know who made the All District Team this year in 11 AAA?

In DII I had the chance to see Matt Hissong from FRA pitch during the season and in the State Tournament. He finished 11-0 for the season with unapproved website showing a .65 ERA and 120k. He threw a complete game shutout in the State with 11k. He would certainly have to be a finalist.

Penn Murfee at MBA had a great season as well both at the plate and in the field.
