Haywood Tomcats Head Coach Search

Haywood's Slade Calhoun resigns, effective this morning. I hate this for the program and the kids. Seemed like the program was making some improving strides and the kids were finally buying into his ways. Now, they must start all over. Any thoughts on the search?

Why did he resign? This is unexpected.

It seems that this is a very unsteady position since Bart Stowe left several years ago. I hope they can find someone who will stay for the long haul. That is what it will take to get the Tomcats back to power in

West TN.

why, Coach vowell was calling the plays

Coach Vowell had very little input in the offense other than coaching the oline one year! Coach Vowell concentrated on the the defense. Mac called the offense.

Oh come on guys.....we all know the Craig kid called a lot of the plays while Mac and slapper were hitting shuffle and continuously reorganizing their mix tape.

Quick turnaround for the Tomcats. Haywood Middle School and Haywood Freshman football coach, Ernie Jackson, gets promoted to Head Coach.
