MidTnBall
The 3rd Annual Macon County Softball Tournament will again be held at beautiful Cain Creek Sportsplex Park in Cookeville, TN. The date this year is April 4th and 5th and all teams are guarantee three pools and then we start our single elimination portion of the tournament after pool play. We will play two pools games on Friday and single pool game on Saturday morning and then start the elimination portion of tournament. Format this year will be the following: Gold Division- experience teams with good pitching and experience team returning. Silver Division-these teams will be divided after pool play as been decided. The 1st and 2nd place team will stay and play for the Silver Championship. Bronze Division will be the teams who finished 3rd on 4th in their pools. These teams will compete against one another for the Bronze Championship. Our goal is to make our tournament as competitive as possible and we feel this format will help to achieve our goal. We have had teams from 7 different states attending and we are expecting another large turnout this year. We can only take the first 32 teams so get your entry fee in as early as possible to reserve your team a spot in this year’s tournament. $250.00 per team 1 hour and 15 minute time limit with the game starting on the first pitch of the game and not on the coin flip we want the full amount of time for our teams. Each team will provide one new game ball each game Host Hotel is the Baymont Inn for reservation contact Desiree hotel manager at 1-931-525-6668 or visit them at http://www.baymontinns.com/hotels/tennessee/cookeville/baymont-inn-and-suites-cookeville/hotel-overview?hotel_id=17918 Don’t forget to ask them about their delicious breakfast bar!
