Sequoyah @ McMinn Central

Chiefs make a statement and show that they are the best team in the district SQHS by 4+ TD's

The best team in the district wouldn't get beat by Walker Valley. The best team in the district won't get beat by Walker Valley.

But it's good to see that same Sequoyah optimism. Regardless of what happens tonight, remember last season y'all dominated Central, then what happened in Benton?

Good luck, but try to stay somewhat realistic. You beat a bad Tellico team, and then lost to a perennial sub .500 team.

ChiefStrong just sees and knows how good the OL from Sequoyah can be, not going to lie, that WV game was tough to swallow.  Playing behind the chains from the 2nd quarter and on, with what seemed like 1 mistake on every play, compounded with the hose job from the refs...just tough to take in.  Anyway, this is a big district game for both teams, I know Central was not at full strength in the jamboree and seems to be playing better of late. I look for the Chiefs shake that game off from last week, get back to doing what they do best, Sequoyah 21, McMinn Central 6.

So I missed it by 1 point, sorry.  Thought Centrals offense was just "vanilla", kinda what they done last year.  The Chiefs did a good job containing a great back, not letting him run wild.  Think the Chiefs offensively, are a good passing threat and really descent run game, "pound and ground" type.  Continue to get better every week!  GO CHIEFS!!!
