I got to see the Montgomery Central / Waverly game and it looked to me that the MC coaches were coaching up their team from the start of pre game stretching till the final horn.   I don't know if it has been that way at all their games or not but it looked like they came to play last Friday night.  MC played a good physical game all game. They looked to be a better team than their record shows.  Lots of players with good size too.  Should be a good game between them and Stewart Co.  I think that if MC plays the same  that they did last Friday that they get the win.

Central got their win, yet no one commented on that. Only comments about Central here were ones blaming the coaching. So, when they do win, they dont get the credit???

Boobie.  When did you ever see Central post on here, update their schedule or post anything on CoachT?  They've never really been big on CoachT for whatever reason as long as I've been tuned in.

I think opponents were the main ones calling out coaches and the one Central fan sort of set us straight on what happened 3 and 4 years ago.

Congrats to their boys.  Nobody deserves an oh fer season.

There was another Central regular as he called it saying it must be the coaches as well, and even the fan you are speaking of was asking how could anyone not blame it on the coaching.

Bottom line, in high school sports you have to be lucky in order to be a good team. Coaches can only do so much. By lucky, I mean you hope the Jr. Pro and middle schools that feed to your school have good programs and develop players to where when they come to h.s. all they need to do is learn the playbook and get bigger/faster/stronger. But let's face it, getting a stud athlete to go to your school is all about where they are zoned (unless your school is a private school). It's a lottery pick. There is a such thing as having a bad talent year in h.s. My junior year in baseball we had 4 seniors get scholarships to play baseball, my senior year we had 0. We even all played for the same coaches when we were playing little league and middle school. Same coaches, different talent level.

Back to the feeder comment, when the kids get to h.s. and you have to basically teach them the fundamentals of whatever sport they are playing it is aggravating as a coach because these are things they should already know. It's not the kid's fault, but it does slow the kid down when they have to learn what they shouldve learned before they came to high school. I think you touched on this in an earlier post ks.

From everyone that I have spoken to, MC looks much better than they have in awhile.

It was precautionary from I what I was told.  They said they weren't getting a lot of oxygen from his lower lungs so they wanted to be safe.  He was checked out and got to come home last night.  I'm sure there is more to it, but I can at least tell you he is ok!

    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
    • I think this goes on a lot more than most people know, maybe not finishing an entire geometry class in 90 minutes. This situation seems special.
    • Clint and Blake sitting at home right now after Sunday service having a family discussion.   Pork Chops and Greens on the menu, and maybe some cookies and milk for a snack later.   Clint probably told him he sucked and ruined the legacy, and would be right.   The next HC sits in MJ, but wears blue, JMO.
    • Report from Kodak was the RV isn't ready to load on back.   Working on option offense now because "he can do it all" like his dad.   Zebra had enough had to call a timeout and head on back early for some weekend work down in the Och.   @Sackmaster50 doing running the dance circuit winning titles on the weekend, needs to talk to the boss and get the schedule figured out.
