I really can't speak on anything we have these days. I'm just an oldhead who likes to check things out on here occasionally. I can tell you we'll likely be running the classic wing-t with variations of pistol and I formation mixed in, maybe a spread formation or two, if that helps you any. They'll also have a defense. How good, I can't really say, but there will be 11 people on each side of the ball on most occasions. I think we'll probably defer to the second half if we win the coin toss usually, unless we dicide we dont want to. So thats always good to be prepared for. 😂

ditto. Jakes a great guy who worked hard to get that up and coming, and then just got snubbed. Not a real classy move by administration.

Really glad to see Coach McConnell doing good things. He was always one of my favorites here at Lewis County. A guy that always high expectations and knows how to get the most out of his guys.

About which part? Sorry fellas, I've missed a lot this year. I've been swamped. All I know is the Panthers have been about like an M-80 from 3 summers ago..you light the fuse and hold your ears....and.....nothing happens. Anticlimactic to say the least.

Idk why this guy would be getting bashed. I feel like all this stuff would be common knowledge. These are all pretty straight forward, logical posts.

It only makes you better to COMPETE against better competition. If you just go out and get your brains bashed in then neither team benefits much. One team learns to take a whipping and the other learns to dish one out. That's about it.

I would think Waverly should handle them with relative ease. Just my opinion.

I know McConnell very well. He coached me for 4 years and aside from that, he was a friend. If his starters were in there was a reason, either he wasn't satisfied with the performance he was getting execution-wise, or he maybe just didn't have any other guys to put in. Perhaps, he subbed the 2s and 3s he thought had earned it or were ready for it. Or maybe he just felt like running it up and making a statement in his first game. No harm, no foul. And you guys are going way to hard on WavoTigers10. I'm sensing a gang mentality. The dudes just passionate about his team and he's excited about their accomplishments. Let him be passionate about his team. Great things come when passion like that builds throughout a community.

One thing that will definitely be in LCs favor is home field advantage. Idk if Loretto has ever been in a hostile environment like they're fixing to get thrown into tonight. That is, assuming the Panther Pit Crew is out in full force. Anybody we played from about the 3rd game on, last year, can vouch.

Gotta love McConnell and the intensity he can bring to a football program.

Wadup fellas?? It's been a minute, so I figured I'd get on here and check out the buzz. Unlike most years, I have no idea what were bringing. If we play anything like we did against Giles in the spring, we're in trouble. I realize Giles will probably play for a gold ball, but we just looked scared to death. I can deal with being beat when were out athleted but I can't deal with being out played and out efforted, and out hit. I trust the bugs have been worked out, and I expect to see the experienced offense of the Panthers to be too much for the Stangs. I'll say 28-14 Panthers. The O may sputter at the beginning. Hopefully we come out firing on all cylinders.

Oh ok. Well, either way, congratulations to this young man, his family, and the Milan community. It's always great to hear of a small town kid making it big! I'm sure you guys are very proud, and I'm proud for you.

Was this the huge DE that played us in the playoff game in 2011? #88 maybe?? I just remember y'all having kid that was supposed to be recruited by Kentucky who was head and shoulders above everyone else.

LC and Giles will scrimmage within the next 2 weeks. It'll be interesting to see how LC rebounds from graduating such a successful class.

That's great! Coach McConnell was always one of my favorites! He damands a lot. Hope your guys are up to the task. This adds a little drama to the LC/Wavo game. Whatever you do, don't make him angry...

Who took over at Wavo? I had heard rumors that former LC-Def.Cord. McConnell had taken the job, or wanted it or something.

What did we do? We went to the semis. Did you guys not get the invitations? Camden was a joke last year, and while we did swap licks for a while in past years IMO here lately LC has definitely had the edge. The same goes for FV. They lost a lot. Big shoes to fill.

One thing for sure is, anyone going to LC is going to have to deal with a hostile environment. It makes more of a difference IMO in basketball than in football. These guys can get hype. They're going to give folks trouble traveling.

I'm not trying to give you a hard time, bc to an extent I understand your frustration with the lack of bling, and there are plenty of other guys on here to give you a hard time. But I will say I know a lot of teams who would be glad to to go 13-1. Coach Sharp is a hall of famer for sure. Coach Sharp knows his stuff but more importantly he does a great job with the kids he has. I love the man to death, an loved playing for him. Winning a state championship is hard enough as it is. It takes all the stars and planets aligning. It just hasn't happened. I feel like anymore of this is taking away from these kids and their outstanding season.
