Word on the street is that he is good to go for this one. Could possibly be a preview of the State Championship. I look for Webb to strongly win this one but the next time they face each other, when its all on the line, could be a different result.

Webb has been without stud LB Mitchell the last two games. They really need him to play this week and I haven't heard his status. My Spartans are going to need a great effort Friday night against a quality opponent. Hopefully Kelly is back to his normal high-motor self after appearing to be under the weather against CAK last week.

Long trip from Possum Town.  That's the problem moving to DII.  The positive of moving to DII though is we get to watch legitimate 3/4/5 star athlete's play throughout the season now.

 

Should be one heck of a game from two quality programs.  This should determine home field advantage throughout the playoffs for one of these squads.

Webb has the strongest strength of schedule in the state & that's saying something with Ensworth beating Trinity/BA playing in Cincy.

That's a tall order for FCS.  Webb probably has no business playing in this classification.  Should be up with the big boys ... Ensworth, BA, MBA.

Ozzie, Webb just doesn't have the roster depth to compete with the "Big Boys". Nothing would make me happier than to see Webb's roster grow from the low 30s to 60 or more with quality depth and play up with those teams. The current administration will see to it that Webb will never put themselves in this position.

 

As for the game, I'm really looking forward to it!

Local paper has Coach Neal saying AJ will not play against Webb and next week is game day decision.  Neal stated he could not say why AJ is not playing.  Last week against TC he was sick (bug) and week before concussion.  In practice this week receiver Hawks was at QB position.  This will be a big Webb win as they can do what TC did and stack the box and FCS's line is not good enough to just pound the rock.  I don't see them scoring.

CommanderMan, what is the real story on AJ? I have heard some rumors that are not good. I don't want to repeat them on here. I figure if anyone knows the real story, you do.
