This will be the Friday Night Main Event on the Duck next Week! Huge district eight implications here. The Falcons are the only remaining team that controls it's own destiny being the lone remaining unbeaten in district team. Should Shelbyville win this game and run the district table, they would need help from Lincoln County, Lawrence County, or Coffee County. A Shelbyville win would still leave them with one loss and in a three way tie with Lincoln County and Tullahoma.

Now, it the case of a three way tie, obviously each of these teams would of beaten one of the other two so the next tie breaker would be total wins. Lincoln County, having loss three non district games already would drop them out of the tie breaker. You would then revert back to the previous tie-breaker which is head to head. This would give the district title to Tullahoma. Obviously Shelbyville needs Tullahoma to pick up that second district loss in order for them to have a shot at a district eight title, regardless of what they do the remainder of the season.

This is all speculative upon Shelbyville running the table. Should be a great game as Shelbyville picked up a huge win last night over a Franklin County team that has played well of late. We're very excited about broadcasting this one and hope to see you folks there at 4:00 pm for our Tailgate Broadcast at 4:00 pm on 93.9 FM!

I've been going back and forth on it.  Really tough game to call.  Shelbyville started out really well, then lost that game to Tullahoma that most of the Eagle fans felt they should of won.   Franklin was definitely better than both these teams, but the Shelbyville loss to a smaller Giles County team by such a large margin is cause for concern.   Lincoln County would be a slight favorite on a neutral field in my opinion.  They say home field gives you three points (guess that's only if you have a kicking game and Shelbyville struggled in that department when I last saw them).   It's totally a toss up for me.

Nobody seems to have any predictions on this game.  I expect a hard fought game.  Whoever jumps on the other one first should be able to control the game.  And we all know the Falcons have struggled with getting started all year.  Hopefully that changes tomorrow night.  Go Falcons!!!
