PurplePounderMan
I have a mystery I am trying to solve. I teach at Central High School and we won the Litkenhous State Championship in 1946, 1951, 1953, 1954, 1957, and 1965. My understanding is the trophy rotated between schools. Does anyone know what this rotating trophy looks like? I read Maplewood had it last. Does anyone know if they still have it? Has anyone ever seen a large wooden plaque with Litkenhouse Ratings Champion on a large metal (brass?) plate with smaller plates attached with the name of the winning schools? Did the plaque rotate or did every school that won get a plaque? This is a very large, heavy plaque: 31" tall 19" wide. If anyone can give me any information about the plaque, the trophy, or anything else I would greatly appreciate it.
Bighurt
I saw BGA receive the plaque/trophy in 1966. Yes, it looked just like you described it. Edited July 15, 2015 by Bighurt
