Team Xtreme (TN Xtreme Playmakers "TXP") will be hosting tryouts for Middle School players grades 6-8 on March 2nd from 2-4pm at Hillsboro High School in Nashville.  High School evaluations will take place on March 8th 1-4pm at Hillwood High School in Nashville.  All participants should pre-register at www.teamxtremehoops.com.  

 

Our high school division competes at some of the most competitive tournaments in the country.  Last year, our high school division participated in numerous events such as the Knoxvegas Heat, Adidas Invitational, Real Deal in the Rock, and many more.  We pride ourselves, unlike other programs, in actually improving the players in our organization's overall playing ability and skill set along with mentoring each to become College Student-Athletes.  Only serious minded athletes with college aspirations should attend this tryout.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

      stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
