your argument is meaningless and i'm not going to explain anything.....TO THE VICTOR GOES THE SPOILS so let it go. I have very good reasons for the losses but i'm not going to explain but what I would tell you is 32 out of 34 ain't bad at all......haha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jackson SS was every bit as good as CPA, that much is an established FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would remind everyone Barford missed 12 minutes due to foul trouble in this game.

You do realize you are arguing with yourself, right? I thought you were not going to explain anything else. Move on. Everyone has already agreed that JSS was a worthy champ, a good team, and deserved to win. You do not need to build their case anymore.

Sportsnerd, if he's arguing with himself, why are you responding?

Agree, I believe Sportsnerd is admitting that the best team won on that day.

On the other hand I would believe that everyone who was at the game would admit that the foul issues played a large part for CPA. Hate them or not, they are the best basketball team in TN and have been for several years.

Your entitled to your opinion. I don't believe they are the best team in Tennessee. It wasn't an upset. CPA beating JSS would not of been an upset. I didn't see CPA as this fantastic all star team. When they meet their level of competition, they are not the same team. I saw the Ballard game....Ballard got in their face, just like Southside did. They have one stud and good role players. Alsmiller has lemons and he makes lemonade, thats what he does......spot up 3's. He can't get his own shot. Bonds handles the rock well, he can get to the rack if necessary, but a tough defender can get under his skin. Blackwell is the man, he can do it all. Alsmiller is a liability on defense, when playing someone quick and athletic. Barford had his way with Alsmiller. There is nothing Alsmiller could do about that. McNeal was to fast......period. And Hicks was Hicks. He and Blackwell cancelled each other out. That leaves McNeal and Barford.....and CPA doesn't have two more studs like them. Period. CPA also played in a cake district and region. They missed Jalen Lindsey. #fact.

    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
    • Looks like Trent Noah was released from his NLI at South Carolina with intent to pursue playing closer to home. Kentucky and Louisville both reported to be in the mix for him now.
