ATTENTION!! If you are seriously considering wrestling at the next level and you prefer a smaller school where you are a person and not a number, St. Catharine is where you need to be! 

Let us introduce you to St. Catharine College, the newest NAIA wrestling program in Kentucky. St. Catharine College will be starting the road to making history during the 2014-15 wrestling season and will be competing in the honorable Mid- South Conference.[/color] 

St. Catharine College is conveniently located on route 150 near Springfield, KY just 10 minutes south of the Bluegrass Parkway. It is easily accessed and less than one hour from both Louisville and Lexington.

The program will be coached by 3X NAIA All-American, Spencer Adams and assisted by Gary Canter a “Wrestling USA Magazine†National Coach of the Year Runner-Up, who as high school coach amassed a 476-93 record. For more bio information on both coaches go to http://goscpatriots.com/. 

We are actively recruiting senior wrestlers as we look to assemble a competitive squad in our first season. We highly encourage you to check out our scenic campus located in the rolling hills of rural Kentucky.

St. Catharine offers incoming freshman wrestlers the best opportunity to be a varsity starter in their first year of college due to the lack of upper classman to contend with. You will also get a combination of technique and experience from a coaching staff that is unsurpassed in the NAIA. The best news of all is that we have scholarship money available! We have enough money left that a few highly credentialed student/athletes may be able to acquire a full scholarship.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
