Fairview @ Creek Wood

The jackets are making the short trip to Charlotte this week to take on the Red Hawks. I don't know much at all about Creek Wood other than they handled Cheatham County easier than we did according to the scoreboard. Fairview's offense is starting to click. The D needs some work but should improve week to week as the inexperienced players get more reps.

 

I expect this to be a hard fought and close game. The officials may need to bring extra penalty flags if Fairview plays like they did Friday against Stewart County.

Could be a long and boring week on this one. Don't recall ever getting much talk out of Creekwood posters. There's no doubt they are much improved. I love watching all sports at Creekwood. They have facilities that are second to none!

I gave Creek Wood to much credit for their big win over Cheatham Co. After hearing Harpeth beat the Cubs 28-0 I think  Fairview should be fine in this one.

Fairview loses a tough one in OT. Hats off to the Red Hawks of Creekwood. They got better and better as the game went on. No excuses. Just couldn't stop them. Again, congrats to the Red Hawk players and fans. The Jackets suffer a couple of key injuries early in the game. Everyone pray for the health and healing of all the young men tonight from both squads.
