tribecitizen
I have to admit, football being overhauled was way over do. However, since they have released school enrollment numbers, I really have to question the TSSAA not going ahead and realigning districts while they are at it. Several schools have either dropped or moved up across the state, which systematically will affect the three classifications that all other sports are divided into. This will be two years of known inequitible dividing of the classifications. If you try to get it right in football, then fix the whole thing. Current D1-3A = Lose 2 that drop Dobyns-Bennett Science HIll Tennessee High Daniel Boone David Crockett Volunteer Sullivan Central Would be NEW D1-3A = Gain 3 due to geography Dobyns-Bennett Science Hill Tennessee High Daniel Boone David Crockett Morristown East Morristown West Cocke County Current D1-2A = Lose 2 that drop Johnson County Elizabethton Happy Valley Unicoi County Sullivan East Sullivan North Sullivan South Would be NEW D1-2A = Gain 3 that drop Johnson County Elizabethton Unicoi County Sullivan Central Sullivan East Sullivan South Volunteer Cherokee Current D1-1A = Lose none Cloudland Hampton Unaka University High North Greene South Greene Would be NEW D1-1A = Gain 2 that drop Sullivan North Happy Valley Cloudland Hampton Unaka University North Greene South Greene Just an observation I had, unfortunatly the TSSAA is quite busy and can't be bothered with such inequities.
