Any first hand accounts / box scores?

I was there, but no box score.  Farragut has a good team, Cumberland County just a little bit stronger especially on home floor.  It was a 20 point game by half, ended up being about 30 by end of game.  Farragut has a strong post player and good shooting - Cumberland County shouldn't lose till Substate (Murfreesboro teams!).  I do think that they will probably split with Clarkrange and play a tough Elizabethton team in Dec.

I thought it would have been a closer game too, and it might be if they played again.  Cumberland County is very strong and deep for several years to come - very experienced too.  Most of these girls have been playing together since they were in the 5th/6th grade in middle schools, state, and national AAU - they are very familiar with the Farragut girls - playing against and with them for many years.  There are a few girls on the Cumberland County team that play in the Fury AAU program that primarily runs out of Farragut, a very good AAU program.

Agreed, they have done a fantastic job growing the Fury organization after PILOT and some other AAU organizations collapsed picked up lots of good players.  I can think of at least 5 young ladies who have been offered scholarships or opportunities to play at very well respected D3 academic institutions.
