SJF, are you making a general statement or replying to someone?

If your statement is in general I agree that the girls coaches at both McMinn county schools are too negative a lot of times in how they handle girls. I see it almost every game at Central and have seen and heard how McMinn County's coach is as well. I have not heard fans or parents tell their kids at either school they are bad or discouraging. Is this happening at McMinn? I haven't heard it from the McMinn players parents I know and I know several of them well.

Look I am just trying to let everyone know that these kids are under alot of pressure! I have heard comments: Get her out of the game! What are you doing! etc. No finger pointing  but I have heard it! But I am a parent and I can speak from experience the worst part of any game is the car ride home! But kids don't seem to get so tore up if its their parents. But I have been at several games and way to many players coming out of locker room with sad faces or in some cases crying! And thats after a win! Players on both teams getting pulled off the floor for making a mistake then yelled at and embarrassed and demoralized! Coaches should never get in kids faces or stare at them all the way to the bench! Or a Coach stand up to make a knee jerk substitution walk to kids on the end of the bench look at them and wave his arms down like they are useless! Just my opinion but the gym is a classroom too. The Coach is the teacher and the player the student! In the class room they teach the kids, encourage them and praise them when they do good and if they struggle they don't give up on them but give them more chances and opportunities to succeed! But always explain to them thru encouragement what they did wrong! Next time you are at a game just ask your self if the Coaches acted this way in the classroom would it be accepted! Maybe I am wrong but it just seems as tho alot of the players and Coaches don't seem to be having fun! And ain't thats what its all about!

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
