  1. It’s all over for this season now on to seeing if there will be sports and school in the fall.
  2. The quicker the adults in the room accept that it’s not going to take place the quicker the non adults in the room can move on!
  3. You really are living in a different world than the rest of us. Mid April is 3 weeks away. School is over for this year. Not fair to any HS senior but no school system is going to take any chances with kids in this calendar school year.
  4. It would be better for these kids and parents to go ahead and be told now that it’s all cancelled! Then they can come to terms with it. Trust me the kids will be more upset about their proms than any basketball! And sadly there is no way any big AAU events are taking place this summer!
  5. It’s over for this year and sadly there will be no summer AAU exposure events. No one will take on that liability.
  6. It’s hurting these parents by giving them false hopes that their kids will play. Right now TSSAA should be more concerned if they are having Fall sports at this point.
  7. Yes more to follow. Sadly this will go on longer than 8 weeks. TSSAA needs to stop giving false hopes.
  8. We are a week or 2 away from schools being cancelled for the year. No way any sports are played. They are just delaying the inevitable.
  9. At this point and time I believe that all of these young ladies are probably more concerned about having their proms and graduations and spring and summer sports called off which is very likely.
  10. It’s over let it go. No gold or silver ball for anyone this year. Folks there are lots more important things out there. I think that there are more adults butt hurt by the tourney not finishing than the actual players.
  11. Bradley, White, Rhea and Stone all win!
  12. Fire Elite 8th grade team looking to add 1 player for the upcoming 2020 AAU season. Position of need is Guard/wing. This team is based out of the Meigs/McMinn area! For more info 1-423-435-3980
  13. Fire Elite 8th grade will have a tryout this Sunday Feb. 9 at Meigs Co. HS Decatur Tn. at 4:30. Forming team for the upcoming Spring/Summer AAU season. For more info: 1-423-435-3980
  14. Just seems McMinn has enough talent especially having those experienced seniors what is the issue there?
  15. This is on whoever agreed to play these games!
  16. No I am sure Cleveland’s coach knew nothing about this and I am positive had no contact with the player. And with that being said I am 100% sure that he will do the honorable thing for his current players and not play this kid til next year. Trust the Process and that philosophy is working.
  17. I know he has told his players and parents over the last few years to trust the process success will come with hard work and dedication. He knows bringing in a player under these circumstances would undermine everything the program has going.
  18. I don’t expect the Cleveland coach will disrupt team chemistry like this. He knows his kids have worked their butts off all summer and fall for the minutes they are getting. My money Is he will not play her this year.
  19. Looks like he lost this recruiting battle.
  20. Fire Elite 8th grade girls forming team for the 2020 AAU tournament season we will play 7-8 tourneys. If interested: Jon Simbeck 1-423-435-3980

  22. Just sad I am sure the players would love a chance to play Meigs, McMinn Central and McMinn Co. 1 player leaving several years ago just needs to be forgotten! Great group of freshman let them get better who cares if you beat Tn Christian and Maryville Christian by a hundred! A hard fought loss builds more character than an easy win!
  23. Very strange! In watching a few games you can see his Coaching style included lots of negativity and screaming down at players! I would want better for my daughter!
  24. Melia Baker for Central may be the best player in E Tn very few have heard of! Kid is a winner!
