Power Basketball will be adding multiple teams this year. We are based out of White County, TN but we currently have athletes from 8 counties. Every one of our coaches currently coach TSSAA School teams or have been NCAA Certified to coach. At the current time we are looking for 4th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th grade girls and 4th, 6th, 8th grade boys. Our High School teams competed in the Run for the Roses Lexington, KY and Battle in the Boro Nashville, TN. college showcase tournaments last season and will do the same this year. Leave message on Coach T or email us at www.tennesseepower@gmail.com or check us out at: www.facebook/tnpower.com or www.tennesseepower.webs.com. Important try-out update for the 4th grade girls team. Currently 2:30-4:00 has been moved to 4:00-5:30! All other times will not change. All time central and location is White County Middle School in Sparta, TN.

8th grade boys 1:00-2:30

7th grade girls 1:00-2:30

4th grade boys 2:30-4:00

4TH GRADE GIRLS 4:00-5:30

6th grade girls 4:00-5:30

Alright, here we go again!!!!! Due to obvious issues with the weather we are now moving everything to next Sunday March 1st. 4th grade girls can go back to their original time slot of 2:30-4:00 and everything else will stay the same. Sorry but we want everyone to make it to the try outs safely. Thank you for your patience. CJP

      So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?

      Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.

      Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
